About the Role:

The Medical Supplies Officer is expected to be an enthusiastic, competent, and self-motivated professional with extensive liaison and lobbying skills. The primary objective of this role is to manage supply chains, secure key contracts, and build robust professional networks to consistently achieve and exceed departmental targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Care: Deliver excellent service, resolve complaints within 24 hours, and escalate major issues to the HOD.

Procurement & Liaison: Network with key stakeholders to secure supply contracts and maintain vendor relationships.

Market Research: Analyze trends, demands, and top-tier medical brands to keep the product portfolio competitive.

Tender Management: Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, from strategic sourcing to delivery and client retention.

Business & NGO Development: Expand professional networks to secure NGO projects, public initiatives, and institutional contracts.

Regulatory Compliance: Manage product registrations with local authorities (e.g., TMDA), ensuring full legal compliance.

Distribution & Networking: Coordinate medical supply deliveries across hospitals, private clinics, and home-based care networks.

Reporting & Records: Maintain accurate data and submit comprehensive progress reports to the HOD.

Ad-Hoc Tasks: Execute additional duties as assigned by management to support departmental growth.


Education & Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience handling medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare consumables.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and lobbying skills.

A proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running immediately.

Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for regulatory compliance.
